People love to mash their favourite things together to make them even better.  Just look at Vegemite and cheese… or Netflix and chill!  But what about Hip Hop and food?  Sounds like a perfect combo to us!

And if that combo sounds like something you might be into… read on!  We’ve made a list of some of our favourite Hip Hop-themed restaurants that could be just around the corner from you!

Big Poppa’s – Sydney

They serve darn good food and they’ve got the awards to prove it.  Grab some Italian and listen to some old-school Hip Hop… until 3 am every night of the week!

Toastface Grillah – Perth

Paying tribute to everyone’s favourite Wu-Tang member, this joint specialises in toasted cheese sandwiches and artisan coffee.  And if you can’t get to the Perth location, they have a second store in Fremantle!

Biggie Smalls – Melbourne

They started out as a food van, and became so popular they had to set up shop permanently at Tullamarine airport.   Serving up a mix of burgers, kebabs, loaded chips and mac and cheese balls, they’re totally worth a trip interstate!

Butter – Sydney

We were down when we saw the name.  This place serves up American-style chicken wings, burgers and fries, all within a Hip Hop-themed outfit that has attracted customers including Post Malone, A$AP Ferg and The Wu-Tang Clan!

The Carter – Sydney

If you’re looking for a bite, but wanna party afterwards, The Carter has you covered.  Come for some street-style food, but stay for a cocktail and explore the NY-inspired design of the heritage-listed, three-level space.
